The One Stop Shop for Collaborative Applications
OnRobot products open new possibilities for automating tasks that you never thought possible. Our cutting edge gripping and sensing systems for industrial automation let you easily design truly collaborative applications that enable your workforce to work side-by-side with collaborative robots on assembly, surface finishing, pick and place, machine tending or testing.
PICK & PLACE
Whether your pick and place application requires a sensitivity akin to human fingertips, the efficiency of dual grippers, the flexibility to grab objects of differing sizes, or shouldn’t leave a mark, we have the gripper for you. A gripper gives you precision handling hour after hour and it never gets tired. Our grippers are easy to install and program and fit a wide range of cobots and light industrial robotic arms.
MACHINE TENDING
Machine tending can be a dull and dangerous job that requires a high level of consistency – even after many hours of work. Automating your machine tending job increases safety for your workers and frees them up for higher level tasks. Plus, it also increases productivity and allows for production to continue after operators have left the workshop, meaning you can take on bigger jobs. With our dual gripper solution, you can significantly decrease cycle times as it is able to handle 2 objects and actions simultaneously.
PACKAGING & PALLETIZING
Automating your packaging lines opens your production to a collaborative model that allows an automated robot solution to work beside your employees. Using a collaborative packaging robot with a flexible OnRobot end-of-arm tool attached, you reduce the packaging time and relieve your workers of repetitive tasks. With the adjustable force in the OnRobot gripper, you get an extremely flexible and easily integrated solution to your packaging problems.
ASSEMBLY
Many assembly operations require the robot to locate items and grip them precisely, often handling small parts of various shapes and sizes. Our range of grippers and sensors help you increase production speed and quality while lowering your costs. With easy redeployment, our collaborative applications are a real benefit for small -and medium sized businesses with a high mix/low volume production. Using a full collaborative set up, you can have the robot and end-of-arm tooling work safely side by side with your workers. Having the robot installation take over repetitive, simple jobs frees your workers up for other tasks, which really helps your business in today’s tight labor market.
QUALITY TESTING & INSPECTION
Laboratories are often small and space is at a premium, so a small collaborative robot can be a great solution. Attaching an OnRobot end-of-arm tool ensures precision and consistency in your operation. With programmable force, the OnRobot grippers easily handle blood test samples or other delicate operations. With the sensitivity offered by our sensors, the robot also can safely hand items to a human worker for inspection.
SURFACE FINISHING
Every surface has small variations, so in order to achieve an even surface finish, the sander or polisher must meet the surface with a constant force and move with an even speed. We have built-in software tools with the HEX sensor that make it super easy to use for polishing/sanding – you can record the path with your hand, rather than recording every waypoint. Then you program the force and torque and the robot adjusts to the surface instantly, giving you a perfectly polished surface.
